How can I edit header and footer in IPB4?

I used to have code to display ads in my header and footer, but now in IPB4 the ads disappeared and I've searched the adminCP and the forum, but didn't find about this.

 

How can I do to have it back working?

I didn't manage to recover the source code I had, but I studied a bit of html to remember and now it is back working.
