Condensed view by default

Hello,

how can I get the condensed view for all users by default as long as they haven't changed it to expanded?

A lot of people are bugged because of the expanded view. When you are new to our site it looks too much.

Is there any way to change the default?

Has nobody an idea how to switch any activity view to condensed view by default?

I know that I can use the ?view=condensed parameter but then the people can't switch back again.

What is this condensed view you are talking about? Where can you use ?view=condensed to see a condensed view?

I mean the condensed view of all activity streams. I installed a plugin. Now it works the way I like.
