All topics suddendly disappeared from search

They were archived. Ok, I disabled it and pressed the YES button to unarchive but there's no indicator anywhere on ACP of how things are going. Not a background task on dashboard or a task running.

How can I know if it is REALLY unarchiving and how can I see the % unarchiving  ?

The guide simply repeats the description of ACP:
