ipbfuck Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 my new hosting has mod security, but cause of this i've more issue in acp - then, atm i've disabled. is there any way to make "workable"? - is required some trick, some customization... something to do? maybe, simply, is best to maintain disabled?
tnn Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I have mine enabled but I have some rules turned off. It will be different for most people. I tested the rules one by one on my server. One particular one conflicts with IPB's database, can't remember which one. Also need to monitor which IPs they are blocking.
ipbfuck Posted April 23, 2016 Author Posted April 23, 2016 before of this new host i lived with some warnings in acp security page: now they are all ok! and i also lived without mod_sec: now i've this, but if I enable i get too many problems! - therefore, if it is so problematic, maybe is best to maintain disabled and pretend to believe... i don't have mod_sec, but the rest is ok xD
