Search Function doesn't allow search for member only

As described, when I try to do an advanced search for a special member, I'm allowed to enter his name, the content types I'd like to see and a time period for created content. So far so good.

But if I start searching, a popup appears and tells me to insert at least 1 tag. Without entering a tag, no search function can be performed.

What's going on? I don't want to search for special tags, but for ALL member contents in a defined time period...

I think you mean an author search under Content tab, not a Member tab search correct?

I have brought this up before, we need to be able to search without a term in author search, they already fixed it for member search.

The last post in my bug was "Hmmm. I guess we could do that."
