Rolling DNS to New Domain.

Hi.

We will be moving the DNS for our Wordpress frontend ftom Hostgator to another hosting company.  They won't let us install IP Board - so what i'm trying to find out is - is it possible to still run the board from the server it's on with the domain name still attached?

eg website.com for the Wordpress side - then website.com/boards for the Invision end - on deifferent hosting.

No, not unless the host proxys the requests for the folder to your IPB server. You could use forums.domain.com for example though instead which could point to the other server if you set up the correct apache/nginx entries.
