Colonel_mortis Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Move links shouldn't be displayed to members who don't have permission to even know the existence of the forum that it's been moved to - it's pointless, and could potentially expose details of forums that aren't supposed to be public information. I've already set up a rule to automatically hide threads that are moved to the spam section on my site to remove any follow notifications that have been sent, but if the thread has been moved there and a link has been left, or if it was previously moved somewhere else, then was later removed, anyone can see the title of the topic and that it has been moved to the spam forum. I understand leaving the links if the member has permission to view the forum but not the contents of the topics, but the link should not be displayed if the user doesn't know that the forum exists at all.
MADMAN32395 Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 it makes so much sense (image relevant lol); it would seem nicer than having members also click and get a permission wall.
