positioning of blogs ?

The most active blog today is showing on 11th position...

and rest blogs where has been no post are showing above,,,,

I wonder how the blogs are listed in blogs index page

some one has posted the comment on old entry of blog...

if sorting is based on  (Entry  posting date)   of the last active post.in blog........

 

Old post is most active and if we sort accoring to this ... the blog will list down....

The problem was commenting on a blog entry was updating the wrong date column and setting the Blog's last entry date to the date of the entry being commented on.
