Raventhal Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Hi all! Newbie el grande, so have patience plz Just locked myself out from the forum admin backend by uploading a .xml theme for 4.x:Fatal error: Call to undefined method IPS\Theme\class_core_admin_global::js_general() in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/system/Theme/Theme.php(627) : eval()'d code on line 1097 The only thing I did was to make it default. I had some issues when upload it too, system said like "EX2"... How can I go back? Get in? The forum itself works for members and visitors..I just cannot access the backend. Please advice.
MADMAN32395 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 SQL. Change your theme back to one that works?
Raventhal Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 Can you please tell me how? Why does the backend go down due to a theme change?
MADMAN32395 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Improper theme can cause acp issues compared to frontend. When I get on the computer I could tell you were.
Greg W Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Do you have another admin who can get in and change your skin?
MADMAN32395 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 core_members acp_skin SELECT * FROM core_themes; see which one shows your working theme's 'set_id' number. pick the working one, then change your users acp_skin under core_members.
Raventhal Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Thanks guys! No, just me...and no one can get in. MADMAN, I'm not qualified enough to understand what you mean, but I'll take it I should enter something inside the mysql admin.
Greg W Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Can you get into the ACP with a direct url into it?
Raventhal Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 I dont even know my IP nor my phpmyadmin login url....any clues? Im at ipbhost.com.
Greg W Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Try getting directly into the ACP with a direct url It is likely to be www.yoursitename.com/admin/ If you can, change the default theme back to one that works
Raventhal Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Oh, thats the page with the error. Can you please tell me how to access the phpmyadmin?
Greg W Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I don't know that myself since the cpanel isnt used on IPS hosted sites now I would suggest at this stage that you raise a support ticket by logging into the clients area of the IPS site https://www.invisionpower.com/clients/index.php
Raventhal Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Okey, I've already created a ticket yesterday, no answer yet....but what about accessing mysql from outside?
Raventhal Posted November 14, 2015 Author Posted November 14, 2015 Solution: Support at Invisionpower changed back to standard theme as default.
Raventhal Posted November 14, 2015 Author Posted November 14, 2015 Problem now is that I cannot any longer find where to select another theme as default Also, when uploading themes I get this error: " EX2: Something went wrong. Please try again".
Raventhal Posted November 14, 2015 Author Posted November 14, 2015 I had to upgrade to latest version, this made the error go away, however, it's not possible to select the new theme as "default". Maybe I should delete the default theme and see what happens..zzz...
