Pay Pal Log Entries from Commerce Transactions... why different from same item?

These people are buying the same thing.  Since these are tickets, and people will buy 5, then 1 then 2 in different transactions, I need to consolidate them so the tickets are together.

Does anyone know why the log files look so different for two different transactions from the same item in Commerce?

In the second one, John Doe.  It looks like two separate transactions.  There are unique transaction IDs for each one. In Pay Pal, it says it is only one transaction.
