Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Zachary Johanson Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I'm super fustrated with the lack of information of terms of getting facebook logins to work. Apparently it's supposed to work without any error andthere is no information what to do if there is an error. I started a new app, everything was 'approved', i got my app ID, and secrete put into my IPS community admin area and saved it... On facebook it says live and available to all users. I tried to 'sign up' using facebook on my website and i got the whole:"Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains." I researched online and people said to turn on oauth , etc and make localhost the path... here are my settings... even after worth, no go. Your help is appreciated, thanks.
Zachary Johanson Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Linkedin - I was able to get the please login to allow silverinvestors access.. once I login it goes back to my login page and says error.I'm using: http://www.silverinvestors.co/applications/core/interface/linkedin/auth.php Google- Same issue with Google, It goes to the part where it displays their name they hit agree or whatever and goes back to login page and says error i'm using:http://www.silverinvestors.co/applications/core/interface/google/auth.php Microsoft is working.
Marcher Technologies Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 For both FaceBook and Google, paste in 'silverinvestors.co'(without quotes) into the 'App Domains' setting. Unfortunately I have literally no experience with LinkedIn.
