Clean installation of IPS 4 on localhost

Hey guys,

I'm wondering how I can make a clean installation of IPS 4 on my home computer on localhost.

I just downloaded the new files IPS 4.0.8.1 and wanted to install them on my home computer on localhost (I use UniServer for this) but I got stuck very quickly when I had to provide my license key (which I do have off course for my live board) and got rejected with following message :

"An installation has already been activated for this license key. Your license key entitles you to one installation only. If you need to change the URL associated with your license, contact IPS technical support."

Try appending -TESTINSTALL to the licence key. That works for a single online test installation on top of your live site and should, I think, also apply to however many local versions you'd like to set up.

Good stuff! And now I know how to install my own one then - I lost patience the other day when trying. Funny how I knew the answer when you asked for help but didn't have a clue when I needed it for myself
