IPB 4 - Group Icon

Just wondering if it is too late to add something to IPB 4 with regards to Group Icon in the cAuthorPane

In IPB 3 you had:

<li class="group_icon">

but for some reason it is not in IPB 4

Reason am asking is that if add the group icon in admincp >> members >> groups and then use an icon there it then uses that same icon for each theme which seems not a good idea if you have a variety of themes installed and the group icon doesn't match with the theme

So in IPB 3 you could have a different group icon for each skin/theme installed you cannot in IPB 4
