Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Izaya Orihara Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Can someone tell me how to restore a deleted member with their posts? One of my super mods somehow deleted her entire account. She claims that she was in the UCP and changed her name twice and her account was deleted. Which doesn't make sense to me really, because if that were true that is a HGUE and critical bug for IPB4 and one(unless I am blind) would've been made into a huge big deal much like the removal of Friends list and post numbering. But she claims that she wasn't in ACP/Mod cp and I don't see any reference to her logins....but somehow her account was deleted and I need to figure a way to fix her.
Ahmad E. Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 It's probably only possible if you have a backup where the user exists and you import all related data to the user in your live database. If you try to do this, take a backup first though.
Matt Norman Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Post/pms/etc still exist. If you can search the database and find his member ID then you just need to have him create a new account and change his member ID to his old one.
