Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Owdy Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I moved my forum to site root. Noe some avatars are broken, because url has changed.Examplehttp://hoitajat.net/foorumi/uploads/av-13699.jpegShould be http://hoitajat.net/uploads/av-13699.jpeg What mysql quoery i can fix this?
SteffM Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 We had the same issue, see the answer from IPS: Hello,Yes, this can be adjusted in your Admin CP > System > Files > Storage Settings. Edit your storage configuration. and you can update the URL and Path there. This system will automatically start a queue process to update the files in the database and move them, if necessary.Regards,Ryan AshbrookInvision Power Services, Inc.
SteffM Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Sorry, edited post!Be advised, if you do use the "Badges" application, this system will break your IPS completely, since the Badges application has a bug
AutoItScript Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 If you change the URL in the storage settings then your emoticons (and maybe other things) in existing posts will break. I bugged it a month ago in 4.0.0 and it's still pending.
AutoItScript Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I believe you have to follow these steps on IPB 4 to move your URL:http://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/system-management/change-your-url-r96/It looks pretty risky though as it will change lots of internal settings and then rebuild all your posts, so I'd have a backup first.
Owdy Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 I restored backup and now back to non-root dir. Attacments, avatars etc where broken. There should be some offiical tool to move directory.
