Gary Howie Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I'm just getting back into running forum software after 10 years. I turned the signatures on everywhere that I could find in AdminCP. They show up in the profiles as being able to add one (Labeled: core_pfieldgroups_0) but anything that you add is not seen when posting. I ensured that all members were enabled to see signatures.That last part leads me to a second question: How do you make global changes in the members group? For some reason, the default when I made the group was signatures un-enabled. I had to do each member's profile individually because I didn't know how to make a global change.
Tanja Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Have you turned on the option to show signatures in the Account settings found in the drop down that shows up when you click on your username?
Gary Howie Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 It turned out that a profile field that I had created (to add your real name to profile) was somehow interferring with the signatures. I deleted the field and it worked fine then.
