minimal 4 characters for username

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to limit the characters in a username. Sometimes users registrate with 3 characters, after that you can't search them because the search limit is minimal 4.

someone any idea how to fix this?

Your members are are either brilliant geniuses or not creative enough to come up with usernames!  Sneaky cat approves of your members.

I searched in IPB 3 and I didn't see any settings to limit the minimum number of characters for registration.  I did, however, find the minimum number of characters for search, so you can drop the search characters down to 3.  See below.

Another workaround is to search by their email address.

Yes it's possible to put the limit of the search to 3, but i don't think this will be a good idea for the database.
