xert77 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I just found out that if someone tries logging into your account & get's the password etc wrong, you get locked out of your account for 15 minutes."Your account has been locked. Try again in 14 minutes."Is there anyway to bypass this and still login? If a user keeps doing it, they could literally lock you out of your own website?
AndyF Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Its similar to how it was on 3.x as well. You can run a query to remove the lock if its required in a hurry.I think if you switch to email login, it will be harder for someone to guess it as they'll need to know the email rather than display/user name...

This is quite an old topic, the information above may relate to the 3x series or possibly even older. It would be best to ask this afresh in the Support forum I think, where someone will be able to provide said query.
