I hope someone can help me :c My forums are http://xgnclan.org as you can see teh images take forever to load... please get back to me soon. -Cory
Dmacleo Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 really hard to help here w/o more info. whats your budget and normal bandwidth usage? may be easier to just enable the ipb cdn right in the ACP community enhancements section.
PaytonKeathley Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 I have level 3 on this http://www.hostgator.com/vps-hosting/ . I know i'm clueless with cpanel so I could not install anything of my own . Whatever would work best . I'm always on skype if you wanted to chat on there. My website has like 7500 users and 90k posts .. around 350 -400 daily users . plus guests. I would be willing to share my screen on skype to show any info .
Dmacleo Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/articles.html/_/server-resource-management/cdn-minify-guide-r625 cloudfront is what I use. I don't use skype.
PaytonKeathley Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 Yea , Its my images that are taking so long to load i'm using cloudflare but it don't seem to help image load time :C
Dmacleo Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 much more then just setting it up, webserver itself needs to be setup to work well too. it can be quite involved.
Dmacleo Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 btw guests cannot see images so hard to really see whats going on
