April 16, 201311 yr Author Problem was resolved via a special program written by Ryan (in response to a ticket). Thank you Ryan. So, how do I get it removed?
April 16, 201311 yr Please submit a ticket and our techs can remove these for you. *really*? I just made a hook and exported the settings group, 'installed' and removed it and it nuked? *edited* I like the kb solution better anyway, doesn't off legit installs of the hook's settings. File removed.
April 16, 201311 yr *really*? I just made a hook and exported the settings group, 'installed' and removed it and it nuked? Not everyone is as savvy as you, Marcher.
April 16, 201311 yr Not everyone is as savvy as you, Marcher. I meant flooding support for a KB matter, not that the user should have to actually make the hook. :P
April 16, 201311 yr Please submit a ticket and our techs can remove these for you. It is there because someone from IPS made something that shouldn't... now everyone out there who installed 3.4.4 needs to submit a ticket ?!? >_< C'mon, let's be reasonable here... post a KB and we're done! I really think it's unnecessary!
April 16, 201311 yr Jeez, who knew simply saying "submit a ticket" would cause such a fuss. https://www.invisionpower.com/support/kb/_/random-topics-settings-r44

April 16, 201311 yr curious, did the people who saw this use the auto upgrader? No. I downloaded the zip which is now updated/corrected.

Hey, I'm not complaining. :P We just haven't seen much of it in tickets, is all, which is what we use to gauge when a KB Article is posted. :)
April 16, 201311 yr No. I downloaded the zip which is now updated/corrected. I must have grabbed it at right time then, lucky I guess :)
April 16, 201311 yr Author I did also upgrade my board manually, it was right before I created this topic. The KB article worked perfect, and removed the settings :)
