Problem was resolved via a special program written by Ryan (in response to a ticket).

Thank you Ryan.

So, how do I get it removed?

As soon as Ryan gives me permission, I will post the program and caution.

odd I do NOT have it.

so I am good :P

Please submit a ticket and our techs can remove these for you.

*really*? I just made a hook and exported the settings group, 'installed' and removed it and it nuked?

*edited* I like the kb solution better anyway, doesn't off legit installs of the hook's settings. File removed.

Not everyone is as savvy as you, Marcher.

I meant flooding support for a KB matter, not that the user should have to actually make the hook. :P

It is there because someone from IPS made something that shouldn't... now everyone out there who installed 3.4.4 needs to submit a ticket ?!? >_<

C'mon, let's be reasonable here... post a KB and we're done! I really think it's unnecessary!

curious, did the people who saw this use the auto upgrader?

No. I downloaded the zip which is now updated/corrected.

Unless IPS has 10, 20, 30 activer users who updated to 3.4.4 or has nothing else to do, which I don't believe it's the case, it would save your time.

Hey, I'm not complaining. :P

We just haven't seen much of it in tickets, is all, which is what we use to gauge when a KB Article is posted. :)

I must have grabbed it at right time then, lucky I guess :)

I did also upgrade my board manually, it was right before I created this topic. The KB article worked perfect, and removed the settings :)
