What is this? I don't remember seeing this setting in 3.4.3. And what does it do? I looked through my board and can't find a "Random button" as the settings say.

I haven't installed the mod. Is it built-in to IP.Board?

No. If you didn't install it, anyone else did. The settings are the same.

No. I'm the only one with access, I'm the only one who's able to install and access the ACP. I haven't installed it. And it isn't found in my files either.

Well, your image and the hook screenshots seems to be the same.

Who did it? Don't know. I only showed what's all about.

Good luck.

Yes, thank you for trying to help me.

I disagree

I also have not got that hook installed

I checked in ACP - Hooks and Apps - Nothing like that installed (and i do all the installs)

But i have the same Random Topic as the OP

Ill ask IPB as its well strange

Same for me.

On my test board, I never installed any third-party hooks.

HAHAHHAAHAH. That is funny! I have this on my board too and I never installed it. It's part of 3.4.4 install.

Guess someone from IPS installed this and the package was generated with it.

Is Delete Settings Group option the correct method to get rid of it?

By itself, it will not delete.

Highly possible a drunken admining issue :D

Good one Mikey :)

Mickey ? Where are you?

in the meanwhile.......

for those affected the simplest solution is to install the free hook the settings actually belong to, then uninstall it, will bash the settings with it.

Maybe I should report this in the tracker?

Maybe I should report this in the tracker?

It would be marked as fixed immediately. Download has been updated already. :)

Is your method the only solution to get rid of it?

Or will IPB issue something like a KB article.

Is your method the only solution to get rid of it?

No, just the easiest/quickest.

Could delete all the settings in the group, then the settings group.

2 of 3 settings are protected. Can't be deleted...

IN_DEV then. I gave the least confusing and most feasible answer for the layman. Shoot me, the alternate is a little less easy.

Install and uninstall the original hook is really the best option here. :P

Install the original and uninstall did not work for me on a test board.

Tried with two localhost boards and the install/uninstall does not remove the one being discussed.

Problem was resolved via a special program written by Ryan (in response to a ticket).

Thank you Ryan.
