I would love the option for a group private chat and the ability to create different rooms.

Any chance of this becoming a feature? Who else would like this?

yes me too, whenever i want to create conversation between like 2-3 users, its tough to send Private Chat to each of them individually.

In fact I would like to see public room and the ability to make password protected private rooms.

That way a user comes into a public chat, then can select from a 'private' room list.
They must enter a password to enter the private room.
