Restrict topic reply to original poster

This is just a simple feature request for future versions. I'd really like to have the ability to restrict a forum so that topics can only be replied to by the original author. We've used this method with other forum software to create project log forums.

There are already some similar options available, so I'm sure that it's not too hard to code in :). It looks like it's been discussed in the support forums before, so I think this request would be useful to plenty of people.

Thanks for the link to the mod - I've coded this manually myself in the templates, but I think it would make a good stock feature - as $10 + $10/year is quite high for what could be a simple few lines of code added to the forums.

Can anybody help me to set this up or point me to a hook I can buy to do this in my forum (version IPB 4.1.6)?  This is precisely what I need.
