Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
• Jay • Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Hi guys, Loving the products, but that should come as no surprise. ;) Would it be possible to get a "find & replace" method posted for fixed bugs as they are patched so customers don't have to wait for a new version if a particular bug or group of bugs are negatively impacting their community?
bfarber Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 We do, in select cases. We usually do not with beta releases - there is an expectation with beta releases that there are bugs, and we would rather spend our time fixing those bugs than explaining to others how to fix them. :)

[img] [/img] I certainly understand about beta software. I was referring more to final releases that have bugs which affect normal operation that have been fixed in an upcoming version. It wasn't an IPB issue that inspired this suggestion, btw, it was an IP.Blog thing. :)
