Feature suggestion: Exclude member from topic

I would like to suggest a feature that allows admin/mods to exclude individual members from a topic. Stops them from participating any further. (Assuming there isn't a mod for this already - I can't seem to find one?)

There are many times when we have to lock threads because one or two people are arguing - which spoils it for everyone else.

It would be great to be able to exclude the thread-spoilers and allow the discussion to continue without them.
