.Peter Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I'm not sure what's going wrong, but some how my apache isn't looking for index.php or index.html anymore as the default index.. I'm not quite sure what it is looking for either. So the only way to get to my website is to actually type in www.mydomain.com/index.html www.mydomain.com won't work I get page not found errors. I don't know if this is an htaccess thing or not. But the sooner I get this fixed the better.
Robulosity2 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Have you made any updates on your server as of late and did mod_rewrite get removed (php info can tell you this) a very quick test is to just rename .htaccess to 1.htaccess and see if it brings up the index.. Chances are something may have changed the default pages in apache

Chances are something may have changed the default pages in apache changing the name of the htaccess file fixed it. Now I have a working htaccess in place. Thanks :D

ExpertPixels.com Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 same problem here I have everything installed in the root dir.. have set the ipcontent as the home page.. "Page" is now the home page, but when hovering over the "forums" tab it shows this mysite.com/index <--- how can i rename index to "Forums" or "Support" ?? Any help on this ASAP would be great, running without sleep for 36+ hours.. i wont sleep until i know this is sorted :( Cheers in advanced.
