In the ACP, there should be a notification option to subscribe all new members to receive topic reply notification emails by default.

This option is available in other forum software.

Blair, thank you for bringing this up. With your links I'm able to figure out the workaround.

To IPS board dev team:
I believe an ACP option to allow members to be subscribed to topic reply notification by default is very important for board admins. Usually members don't bother to open and adjust options when making a post.
