IP.Board doesn't actually provide language translations for these (they were hardcoded into the templates), so when I copied the default template, it copied the hardcoded words - I'll sort this in a future release. For now, it's in the same bunch of skin templates.

I have the same problem as "erden.ozkan" and I'm on 3.1.3. I can click like and it will like, but I have those weird checkboxes and no writing. Do I need to upgrade to 3.1.4???? Or is there some way I can fix the issue? I really needed to fix it ASAP if possible please.

UPDATE: If you're having those issues where it doesn't work properly when you try to like statuses (AKA there is nothing in the drop down box & no text for the checkboxes) SIMPLY update IPB to 3.1.4. This fixes it.

Go to your Admin CP -> Look and Feel -> Manage Languages -> Import language strings from applications, select 'System', 'Forums', and 'Members'. This should make sure you're running the latest strings.

Is there a missing language file? I've tried reinstalling and re-caching everything but nothing seems to work.

It requires 3.1.4 (the 3.1.3 -> 3.1.4 upgrade includes the proper language strings). If you're already on 3.1.4, you'll need to rebuild your language files.

I am using 3.1.4, yes. I rebuilt my language files and I am still getting the same missing language strings. :S

Lang string "Like", "Unlike" and "Set Favorite" are hard coded. First 2 are in lang files, but translations doesnt affect. 3th isnt even in lang files.
