Thoughts from a recent convert

I've used VB for a while now, as a user and an admin. 7 years, maybe. A friend of mine switched over to IPB some time back, and it took me a long time to get used to his forum. IPB has a very unique look and feel, and it was just different than VB and phpBB. When starting a new forum, I decided to make the switch myself.

Man, I'm blown away. I'm still learning, and still on the curve, but wow. Compare the adminCP of VB and IPB. No contest. I can find my way around and it has a nice, professional, appealing look. I'm pretty happy I made the switch.

I'll agree with another recent thread: update the emoticons. LOL. But I'm happy as can be.
