Ip chat is already easy to use.
It's also fast but been unreliable.
Why would you need that ? You can choose if a mod can ban someone or not.
I hate sound effects, should be a option to have them off by default.
ip chat has multi room option, you can invite people to private chats, multiple rooms might be useful.

I personally would like to see a option of sounds off by default and a way to have the chat on the index page and a way to display it on eg a plain html page.

You basically just want IP Chat to be like that one? I hate those "Web 2.0" chat things. Why use Baby Blue, they always look god awful, and I hate all the features they try to add in. Stick with the current one, it works fine (aside from downtimes) and its easy to use.
