ismael33 Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Can i auto ban an user who reaches a fixed value for reputation? p.e. when an user reaches -10 reputation value, this user goes to banned users group
bodrul08 Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 thats kind of harsh isnt it? also something that can be exploited by a group of people who dislike another member
Tanax Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I can see the use of it but I can also see the misuse and abuse of it.
Amy T Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I would only see a use for some thing like this if only staff could give negative rep.
Biker.GA Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I already view reputation systems with disdain. To allow this type of behavior would cause me to rip it out by the roots, and most likely, look for a different software solution. The membership should never be allowed to determine whether an individual is banned or not.

I agree which is why I would only use such a option if only staff were able to use the rep system specially the negative rep.
