Notification Suggestion: Link The Username

Currently notifications are in a format like such:

Shadow82x,

Charles has just posted a new status update.

Now wouldn't it be more user friendly if "Charles" was actually linked to his profile -or- if there was a link to the status message itself? (So it brings you to the profile and down to a status message anchor)

Currently there is no easy way to view the profile and respond to a notification. Unless you go to your own profile and find the friend manually which is not exactly user friendly.
