That's a skin problem, no idea what you've done there.

I am running the latest version of clean cut? Let me try again.

Sorry for the stupid question, but how can I stop members from attaching images?
It seem like the setting under members group - classified is not working for me. :(

One problem at my installation, the "More from this advertiser" link don't works?

I always have a "No results found." (yes, I have more ads :) )

Please post bug reports on http://dev.millne.com/tracker/ so I can keep track of them.

It is quite possible this is a bug as the way search is handled was altered in 3.1

Is there anyway to make it so that the thumbnail is generated based on the first IMG detected? As not everyone would want the images to be based on attached files...?

Also when saving notification preferences it doesnt save them...

I just installed the script and for some reason it doesn't show the header on the page and if i click "add item" i get:

Not at the moment but I'll look into it.

I noticed you have a official support ticket regarding notifications that is now resolved. Was this a related problem or do you still have the issue?

This sounds as if it is related to the categories problem you pm'd me about. I believe the default required root category is missing.

I'm confused, that link *does* have a header. Can you please clarify? or have you managed to sort it on your own?

Maybe when i say header im referring to the wrong thing. It's not showing my logo and the menu and all that stuff. If you click on any items in the navigation bar on the left it DOES show. Not sure what would cause this?

Kind of, however now... the text for the notification doesnt show? Just shows the name of the poster and the icon?

See attached pic :)

Any ideas?

Hi Andy, Brilliant Mod!

I have now created classifieds on 3 of my sites and all uploads went perfectly.

One of my members on www.powerboat.ie returned to the Classified ad he placed after a few minutes to edit his ad and ad a picture. I have placed a zero for time left to edit meaning that there should be no time limit. However when he tries to edit his ad he gets the following error message.[#10911] Too much time has elapsed for you to edit this item.

I can edit the ad as admin.

The url of the ad is at http://www.powerboat.ie/forums/index.php?/classifieds/item/2-wanted-hydromarine-dm12-kubota-zl600-2-cyl-engine/.

Hope this helps!

I have also posted a bug report

Well done !

Kind regards,

Stuart

I'm running a beta copy of IE9 here and can't reproduce. I've added it to the tracker so I can investigate further in IE8.

One problem I have is that when you go to the link at the top of the forum for Classifieds you get:

http://www.myforums.com/classifieds/ ? s = 6f70910c4508cb1fd6808a555528862f

When you reload the page you get the correct link minus the variable.

Anyone know who to hard edit the correct link in the forum header to avoid this problem? I looked in the globalTemplate to find where the Classifieds link was generated but could not find it.

Kind regards,

Stuart

I'd have to review the code I used but I don't think there is a provision for no limit editing. if you put a really high number like 9999999 it should work OK for now and I'll revisit it for the next release. If you feel it is a bug I'd appreciate if you put it in the tracker at http://dev.millne.com/tracker

Hi Andy, Thanks for that.

Under "Edit time restriction (in minutes)?
Specify a length of time after posting in which this group can edit their adverts.
Enter 0 or leave blank for no restriction."

I had entered a Zero "0" for unlimited edit time. However, the member is not able to edit. I can edit as Admin. I have now set the limit as you suggested to 99999. I'll check with the member later. I entered it on your Tracker when I made the original post!

Kind regards,

Stuart

Probably a bug then. I don't check the dev site regularly but it is a lot easier to manage issues using the tracker there. Thanks again.

I'm confused....I downloaded the app from resources. I uploaded everything and installed the app through ACP.

I found some settings and so edited those...and now what? Where do I set up the categories and so on? I can't find that in the ACP anywhere at all.

I've given myself permissions to add stuff through the ACP but....nothing...help!
