Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
iloveipb Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I think the user should have the option to upload an image from the computer to attach it to a signature. The option is available for photos and for avatar but not for signatures...
Morrigan Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 That's probably because a signature is more then an image it can be text, BBCode, and other things.

Morrigan Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I don't know if I care for this. You can upload images as attachments to a thread and use them in your signature or use the gallery to achieve this so I think there are alternatives to this to make this unnecessary.
iloveipb Posted March 19, 2010 Author Posted March 19, 2010 Uploading an image directly from your computer, to add to a signature, is just one more alternative... the same way you could do this in a photo and avatar without the need to upload the image somewhere's else... It's just a suggestion, my two cents on how to make this wonderful product even more user friendly then it's already...
Morrigan Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Well a thread makes sure that the attachment isn't orphaned. As for using an image attachment I would be happy to answer that question in the Peer to Peer forum or via a quick PM. ^_^
