Hexane Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I've been working on the forums for a while and upgraded the board etc etc And I got this php error when I make a thread on the forumWarning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/www/vhosts/xxxxx/httpdocs/uploads) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/xxx/:/tmp:/var/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/) in /home/xxx/omains/xxx/public_html/admin/applications/core/sources/classes/attach/class_attach.php on line 1307 I'm not sure If I can get help here... or if im in the right forum. Help badly needed almost on my last straw :(

Help badly needed almost on my last straw :( Its a problem with your host. Somebody should correct me if I'm wrong, but generally this signifies that PHP is running in safe-mode. Either way, let your host know and they'll fix it for you.
