Andy Rixon Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 I will look into it, see what I can come up with, like I said, I am not sure when this will be done as time is limited at the moment.
Aussie Cable Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Any chance this will be updated for IPB 3.2?
FCB-ROGA Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Yes, an update will follow shortly. That's great news. Really use this hook quite a bit on my site, and would love to keep doing so on 3.2 if it fits in well.
Andy Rixon Posted August 3, 2011 Author Posted August 3, 2011 I have done some testing, the current version of iAnnounce works with IP.Board 3.2, although I shall release an update soon.
FCB-ROGA Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 I have done some testing, the current version of iAnnounce works with IP.Board 3.2, although I shall release an update soon. Can you make sure it supports BB code this time around? Hope so, and thanks.
Andy Rixon Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 Can you make sure it supports BB code this time around? Hope so, and thanks. I will try my best, BBcode is not my strong point and never has been.
TritonX4 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I installed this and the installation process works fine, although it doesn't show anywere on the forum boards. I think it only works if it was pre-installed in 3.1 and then upgraded to 3.2 Anyways still waiting on the update so I can use it on my forum boards Thanks

Andy Rixon Posted August 9, 2011 Author Posted August 9, 2011 I installed this and the installation process works fine, although it doesn't show anywere on the forum boards. I think it only works if it was pre-installed in 3.1 and then upgraded to 3.2 Anyways still waiting on the update so I can use it on my forum boards Thanks At this moment in time, yes. This is why I want to release an update as soon as I can as there seems to be a bug when it comes to adding the template bit when installing on 3.2.
Andy Rixon Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 I have been doing some more work on iAnnounce for IP.Board 3.2, BBcode now works :) I'm sure you guys will be happy with that. But, I am still facing issues with getting it to add the template bits on a fresh install for IP.Board 3.2. Hopefully I will have a release out for you soon.
Aussie Cable Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 Thanks for the update Andy Appreciate it and can't wait for the update.

Aussie Cable Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Andy, thanks for the update. Have an issue, it wont parse URL's correctly: Is their a way around this so you can click on links?
Andy Rixon Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 I have not been able to reproduce this issue, could you try uninstalling and then installing again. Did you upgrade, if so do the above, if not, it should be working as intended.
Aussie Cable Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I have not upgraded, I have done a fresh install. I did uninstall and reinstall, same problem, here is a video from instal to finish (instal, create link, show on main forum page): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpwClKAAPJ0EDIT: I have uploaded a new YT link Best viewed at 720p on YT. I am still stumped.
Andy Rixon Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 The video has been removed, so I can not view it?
Aussie Cable Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 The video has been removed, so I can not view it? I see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpwClKAAPJ0
Andy Rixon Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Thanks, I see it now, can you try a different url please, as I still can not reproduce this, or send me the link you are trying to put in, so I can test it.
Aussie Cable Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Different URL, same results: Both URL's I have tried are: http://www.google.com.au/ https://www.telstra.com.au/webforms/contact-ceo/index.cfm If you need access to my ACP, I will grant it.
Andy Rixon Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Again, with the links you provided, I still can not reproduce this issue, could you send me AdminCP and FTP Login details in a PM please, although I will have to take a look into more detail tomorrow. You could try uninstalling iAnnounce again, go into FTP and delete the iAnnounce file in the hooks directory of your forums directory, making sure that the hooks folder is chmodd to 777 and then try reinstalling again, and if that works, deffently send me the above details and I will take a look myself.
Aussie Cable Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 I have uninstalled the hook and deleted the iAnnounce file in the hook directory, the hooks directory already has permissions of 777. Reinstalled and I still have the same issue, I will PM you the details later today (my time), for you to take a look.
