Searching through my messenger

I have a lot of private messages aka conversations, 3849 to be precise, and i want to delete some that have certain word in their title. So issues regarding this matter are:

1. When i use "Search Messages" it is loading a looooooot of time. Only sometimes it opens a page with page load time less then 0.8sec, in other cases it is around 34sec.

2. There is now way for me to sort those messages. They are sorted in some weird fashion. When i search for this word i get 3 pages with results, on 3rd page at top are newest messages, but it would be logical for them to be on 1st page. :huh:

3. There is no way for me to select all those messages and just delete them. I would have to open each one and click delete which is not the way i want to do this...

These suggestions are not something new, it's just features already present all over the IPS products, but somehow they are missing in search results page for private conversations. :)

not sure about 1 and 2, but to delete everything on the screen, click the little box on the left above the individual conversations. This will select ALL conversations on the screen. Then just click "delete" at the bottom of the screen and "POOF" they are gone!


now that I think about it...if you search and get only messages you want to delete, you can use the same method to get rid of them as well.

4. Ability to move message to custom folder while viewing the message. The only way you can move the message to custom folder is from the main view.

I am talking about when you use search box that is in left column on "Messanger" page.

You cant do anything to those messages, except to open each one and delete it separatly which is very time consuming...

Yeah, that would be cool, i mean when you are on "Messanger" page, you just select all messages on screen that you want to move and select in that dropdown menu(where is delete,mark read,etc) "Move" and on next page you can select folder into which you want to move them. Just like with topics.

So again, all these requests are nothing new, those functions are already implemented on many places, but, not in messanger... :huh:
