import old database into new installation --> possible ?

Hello,

Is it possible to import a existing 2.3.6 database with all posts etc etc into a NEW installation of IPB 3.0.x ?
So what I would like to do is copy a 2.3.6 database into a newly installed 3.0.x board.

You would need to rerun the upgrade script to restructure and rebuild the 2.3.6 database tables and make them compatible with v3.
