IPBlog at index page

Can IPB3 show blog new entry at the forum index page? I think blog will have more click than now.

I already have a hook to show the featured blog entry on the index page ready to go. We just want to add a separate skin template for it, as we feel the one on the blog index page is a little too overpowering to reuse on the forum index page. :) It will be available with blog release.

The hook I'm talking about shows the featured entry (not just the latest entry), however I believe Josh has also already written a sidebar hook that shows the most recent entries as well. It will be available with Blog's stable release, yes.
