Question: 1. Will IPB3 have the content of the reply in the email? (similar to the customer feedback when submitting a ticket) Benefits: 1. Instant notification to the recipient. 2. Ability to read reply and opt to reply to the thread. ----if opt out server doesn't get the unnecessary hit to just view reply content. 3. Better server performance 4. Better user experience. IPB2.<your username>,<repliers username> has just posted a reply to a topic that you have subscribed to titled "<thread title>". The topic can be found here:<body topic> There may be more replies to this topic, but only 1 email is sent per board visit for each subscribed topic. This is to limit the amount of mail that is sent to your inbox. sunrisecc Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 That facility has been available in IPB since 2.1 as per Matt. It also is available in IPB3.0 right now.
