Improving search

Just an idea but would be cool to see this either in IPB3 or ifnot, I will try and make a mod myself. But have you guys considered using the Porter Stemmer algorithm (see: http://tartarus.org/~martin/PorterStemmer/, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stemming)

Currently adding this to one of my custom sites and since I've heard some people complain about IPBs search function, I thought I should mention this.

1) It's difficult to implement something like this, because we have many non-English speaking customers - we can't botch words from other languages

2) The page states that it should be used for IR research, and "Porter2" should be used for practical usage today - thus why wouldn't that be used, if something like this were to be implemented?
