Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Cool Surfer Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 When we get a email saying some one has replied to the thread, it gives not information as to which thread, untill the email is read. But VB emails describe the topic title in subject, it makes the subject data more meaningful and helpul. Why dont we rip this feature ??
TCWT Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Should also give a link to unsubscribe, like vB does.
Cool Surfer Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 no what I am saying is that just by reading the subject matter in your email you can make out to which topic the reply has been posted and email sent to you.
TCWT Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I understood, I was just making another suggestion.
Cool Surfer Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Attaching a snapshot of my outlook express emails * Ubuntu uses VB forums, and the subject line is more meaningful.
