MYsql 6.0

Hello, i'm dutch so I can have wrong spelling.
But is IPB compatible with Mysql 6.0?

Seeing as though 6.0 is in alpha state, my guess is no

Assuming that mysql 6 is fully backwards compatible with mysql 5, there is nothing to worry about. And even if it isn't, I doubt that ipb has any queries that wouldn't work properly.

Oke, but I know from sombody else that he also run it on mysql6 but he have some problems. In the admincp he can't search for the members and something else, but i forgot what it is.

Then I would say that suggests that IPB is not fully compatible, does it not?

I can't see there being any work done to resolve MySQL 6 issues until it is final, as problems with IPB currently may be due to bugs in MySQL 6, as opposed to intended changes.

IPS would be working with MYSQL 5 And PHP 5 for IPB 3, when MYSQL 6 comes out then I think it will be update in a update along with 3.0 ;)

I would not forsee mySQL 6 out for awhile. I thikn we would have a better chance of seeing IPB3 first.I won't even bother testing mySQL 6 until its in LATE beta. There will be way to many things that are going to change between now and then.
