Well, I loved the older version of IPB (1.3), but I have no clue how to get it. I had a web host prolly a year ago that had it as a part of the hosting. Is there any way to get it? or can I only get the newest release? If I can get it, is it free?

The only version that I am aware of that is available officially from Invision Power Services is currently the current version of 2.3.3.

you can get IPB 2.3.3 and no it is not free, you have to pay for the licence
