Can we get more control over subscribing?

I am a member of another web site that uses your forum software.

We have the ability to automatically subscribe to any topic that we start or reply to. That's a fine option for those who want that, but although I always want to subscribe to topics that I start, I do not want to subscribe to every thread I reply to. I rarely want to subscribe to a topic that I didn't create. The way it is now, I have to subscribe to my own topics manually. It's an unnecessary step that could be removed by adding an extra option.

Will you please add an option for people like me who only want to automatically subscribe to the topics that we start?
