Tabbed forum

I would like to have a tabbed forum like what this forum program provides http://www.cjsdn.net/post/page?bid=1&sty=1&age=0

The tabs could be subforums or just special containers where moderators can put selected threads (best topics, questions waiting for answers, etc.).

The main tab will display all threads contained in every sub-tabs.

When users make posting, they will be allowed to choose which subforum their posts belong to using a dropdown menu.

Yes could be. I need this feature badly because I have lots of pinned topics which occupy most of the topic listing.

Probably we can use CSS to hide all pinned topics and put them in a tab which, when clicked, will show the pinned topics. I wish this feature will be added to the next upgrade.

Skinbydragonfly's iTab does this. A really nice job too. Skinbydragonfly.com I suppose you could take the concept of that skin and use it in your own.

i-Tab does the job but I don't like the desing and colors I would rather a different scheme of tabs to be used.

Tabs are very convenient, of forum list can be customized for each.
