Every time i log in my nick changes

Every time I log in my nick changes? It says - "Since this is your first time logging in please put in your display name"

It happens everytime! its getting annoying.

Me again, this is getting annoying ... really annoying. Here is what it says to me when I log in.

My first name was William r, then i 'had' to change it to wiilliam r because william r was taken, then I had to change it to 68iou1 then so on.

Whats going on?
