Can you put in the final release a feature that would allow the administrators to force the customers to pass from a visualization mode (e.g.: Linear Plus) to an other (e.g.: Standard) as it happens for the skin?

You can already change everyones preference for various topic view modes by using a SQL query. Though stopping people from changing them would need a modification at this stage. As 2.2 is feature complete this'd be most likely added to 3.0 if at all.
