Were can I get a demo of this (or at least a later) version? I would like to try it out (as an active forum) before I decide to purchase it.

You can't use at this system. If you want the demo ,there isn't.

However, there are Demo Boards for 2.1.x which are going to be updated as soon as 2.2 becomes Final.

You're best off using the demo of the current version to determine if you like IPB. If so, purchase IPB 2.1.7 right now, and also download 2.2 RC3 to play with. You'll save money.
