yearly recuring events in 2.2

does 2.2 solve the yearly recurring events problem in 2.1?or are we geting again the "will be solved in a future release" standard answer?

They should be completely fixed now. :) If you find any problems with them, please report them to the bug tracker. But a couple of issues fixed (that I recall off the top of my head):

1) Recurring events spanning over a year did not show up in the following year
2) Yearly events made in years past did not show up in the future years
3) Recurring events not showing in the upcoming calendar events properly
